Marbyl is a podcast discovery app that allows users to find and share snippets of audio and transcripts. Glyphic has improved on Marbyl’s brand with a redesign of the logo and refinement of the company’s messaging. We joined the team while Marbyl was starting up. Much of the initial work was in developing their position and finding a way to properly tell Marbyl’s story.
We simplified everything we could, resulting in condensed focus in how the team thought about Marbyl. Position and communication improved, positively affecting investment and helping internally with the development of the product.
The mark was redrawn with a number of improvements including more letter-like forms and a heavier weight, improving its use at small sizes and making it more logo like. Marbyl having previously employed generic defaults, we brought the typography and color to a place that Marbyl could confidently call their own.
