A detailed accounting of letterform details. Adapted from the type anatomy diagram in the Typographic Desk Reference, this poster was printed two-on: first offset and then letterpress in a limited edition of 333.
The print is 4 colors on Reich Savoy 118 lb. Natural White, 100% Cotton Paper. The first two colors were printed offset on a Ryobi 512H using Aluminum Plates. The second two: letterpress on a Heidelberg 13 × 18 Windmill using Copper Plates.
Trimmed to 30 × 40 cm (11.81″ × 15.75″), it fits perfectly in a standard Ikea frame. We prefer the Strömby frame.*
