Font Shop just released a Best Fonts of 2010 list where Bruno Maag’s Aktiv Grotesk is coined the “Best Alternative for Helvetica.” A typeface can take years to gain in popularity. I hope one day Aktiv can at least put a dent in Helvetica’s ubiquity.
