It is one of the finest typo­graph­ic exam­ples of tra­di­tion­al let­tre de forme black­let­ter, a scrib­al let­ter form devel­oped well before the time of Guten­berg and the tech­niques of cast­ing mov­able, met­al print­ing types.”
